PLAINSONG RECORDS - philosophy

We all started our career as musicians in several projects. Some successful, some not. But to aim at success wasn´t the most important thing all the time. We all had a lot of fun together and we were creating music out of us. Later on we had the chance for taking a look behind the scenes.(as you can imagine cause one of the more successfull projects) With that view, everything became a little more grey and real but fascinating, too.                            

We believe devoutly, that this world is always ready for creative muscians with potential to write plain songs with the greatness of hymns and rhythms background it's not astonishing that we are able to put ourselfs in the shoes of our artists.
                             
But before doing the last step there were questions left. Could we assist musicians during their creative processes and deal as a platform for dark music styles including promotional activities? The answer: YES!

The reason: we already got a perfect team for doing this.
                             
Hardy produces german gothic music for a long time, Robert has got a lot experiences in music businesses as well es our graphic team is doing a great job in artworks. In connection with a huge knowledge of music promotion and music business during many years, we are able to promote our productions and artists the best way.                 

After releasing our first records sucessfully we are looking straight-forward into the future and are always searching for promising innovative projects within the gothic and darkwave scene.
                             

We can guarantee our artist the following:

- coaching our artists from the fist step to the last of producing & promoting their music in a professional way
                               
- including recordings in the in-house Plainsong Studio with Hardy Fieting as producer
                               
- a countrywide distribution in the most european and in future also transatlantic countries via professional distributors, for example Al!ve for Middle-Europe
                               
- assistence in creation of a highly professional artwork
                               
- a nationwide promotion with more than 500 media partners contracts usual in a line of business

you give us your 3-chord smashy songs & we are doing the boring jobs for you to sell millions of copies around the world, so that you can rest in peace in your villa in malibu   

We are expecting from our artistst:

- know your own musical art and their kind of exhibition

- do not contact us before anybody else has heard your music live and hasn´t left the room
                               
- don´t leave the ideas in your head, just put it out

Please notice that we are mainly a gothic label with interests in dark music styles. So just send your jazzy fusion RnB styles to us, but it is really useless, no really.....
